Meet Our Pastor

McKenna Community Church is filled with people who are growing in the Lord and being led by Him. There is a great sense of adventure here as we determine God’s will for us and we endeavor to live it out practically. Our church is made up of people of all ages, from large families to singles. We enjoy each other from youngest to oldest! It’s a place where God’s grace is being taught and practiced in the lives of believers. One of our goals being to be deeply involved in the lives of people and help them in their journey to and with God.

So therefore, we proclaim the gospel, and preach and teach the Word of God. Truly, our desire is to love God and love others. And through His love and power, we desire to reach our neighbors and serve our world. Therefore, we press on to be more Christ-like in all areas of life. As Pastor, I’m very excited and passionate about what God is doing here in His church.

Meet the Elders

Matt Schnetz

Head Elder

Matt has been the pastor and head elder at MCC for many years. He has been married almost 40 years to his fabulous wife Tina, and they have been blessed with 10 children who have provided them with even more grandchildren to dote on. He loves baseball, being active, and is a master bread maker.

Tony Fay

Elder

Tony has been married almost 20 years to his incredible wife Jennifer, and they have 5 wonderful children together. Their family is passionate about 4H, and love showing their animals at fair. Tony is one of the friendliest people you will ever meet, and he has a heart for working with our youth.

Joshua Crossman

Elder

Josh is a flooring craftsman who is supported by his beautiful wife Cristina. They have 9 children together, and just welcomed their first grand child. He is an active member on the Yelm city counsel, and is passionate about the great outdoors, BBQing, and mens ministry.
